Share your story

I don’t think most people know the effect that their story, whether it seems significant to them or not,  has on the lives of other people.

At my homecell (church bible study group) tonight I realized that if everyone knew that they aren’t alone, in a world that seems so full of sin and horrible things, it would be a better place. There would be no room for fake people, because everyone would feel comfortable knowing that their story may have touched lives and other peoples stories might have touched your life, and also in knowing that they are not alone. Isn’t that what discipleship is all about, I mean, we all go through what seems to be a series of events that shape us into who we are today. But, have you ever stopped to think that these things had happened because of a bigger cause?

I’ll share the story I shared at cell. I was asked by our group leader to share my testimony on how and when I chose the Lord as my saviour. A bit of background I gave at first was my parents raising me in an amazing home with so much love. My father is a absolute spiritual leader, followed and led by my mother, an amazing Godly woman. These two raised my brother and I with knowledge of what the bible was and what we believed. My father always explained to us what it is to choose the Lord and we read out of the Word every night. Until one day we went to church and I was 14 years old at the time, the pastor was talking about giving your heart to the Lord and I felt something wake up inside me. It was then that I gave everything to Him, knowing that I would never be dissapointed by the decision. This doesn’t mean there was no trial and error. I mean life happened and I grew up. Everyone makes mistakes, but what matters is what you make from that mistakes and who you become.

Part of this blog is Lifestyle, and most, or pretty much everything, I do is based on my relationship with the Lord and His will for my life. This forms part of my lifestyle and who I am. My character is formed fron who I am in Christ.

Please share your story with me in the comments or you can even e-mail me. Because I want to tell you no matter your story! It is always amazing and it always matters.

Xoxo Dan the Wooman ( In Christ 😉)
